Privacy Policy

Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how SiteSurge LLC ("SiteSurge," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information. SiteSurge LLC is a Kansas limited liability company formed on August 12, 2026.

We build done-for-you websites, optimize Google Business Profiles, and provide an AI website chat assistant for contractors and home-service businesses in the Kansas City metro. Our core service is $297 per month with no contract. A voice-AI add-on is available for $197 per month.

This policy covers our website at https://sitesurge.net, our phone and text communications, and the services we provide to our clients. It applies to visitors to our site, people who contact us, and our clients.

If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use our website or services.

Information We Collect

Information you give us

You give us information when you fill out a form, call or text us, email us, book a call, use the chat assistant on our site, or sign up as a client. This can include:

  • Your name
  • Your business name and trade
  • Your phone number
  • Your email address
  • Your service area, cities, and ZIP codes
  • Details about your business that you want on your website (services, hours, photos, logo, reviews)
  • Anything you type into a form field, a chat window, or send us in a message
  • Billing information for your subscription

We do not store your full credit card number. Payments are handled by a third-party payment processor that handles card data directly.

Information collected automatically

When you visit https://sitesurge.net, we automatically collect some technical information:

  • Your IP address
  • Browser type and device type
  • Pages you viewed and how long you stayed
  • The site or ad that sent you to us
  • Date and time of your visit
  • Cookie and similar identifiers

We use this to understand what is working on our site and to fix what is not.

Information from third parties

We may receive information about you from:

  • Google, when you find us or interact with us through Google Search, Google Ads, or a Google Business Profile
  • Advertising and social platforms, when you click one of our ads or fill out a form hosted on that platform
  • Publicly available business listings and directories, when we research businesses in our service area
  • Our scheduling and CRM tools, when you book a call or reply to a message

How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • Respond to your question, call you back, or send you the guide or quote you asked for
  • Build, launch, host, and maintain your website
  • Set up and optimize your Google Business Profile
  • Operate the AI website chat assistant and, if you buy it, the voice-AI add-on
  • Bill you and manage your subscription
  • Send appointment reminders and project updates
  • Send marketing emails and, if you opted in, text messages
  • Provide support and answer questions
  • Improve our website, our services, and our advertising
  • Detect fraud and abuse, keep our systems secure, and meet our legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information.

SMS and Mobile Messaging

Mobile Information. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories of data sharing described in this policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

SMS Program. By providing your mobile number and checking the SMS consent box on our contact form, you agree to receive text messages from SiteSurge regarding your website project, appointment reminders, and related updates. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time, or HELP for assistance. Consent is not a condition of purchase.

How you opt in. SMS consent is collected through a checkbox on our contact form at https://sitesurge.net/contact. The box is unchecked by default. You have to check it yourself. It is separate from any other checkbox on the form.

It is optional. You can submit the form, get a quote, become a client, and use every part of our service without ever checking that box. SMS consent is never required to buy from us or to use our services. Only people who check the box are added to our text message list.

How to stop. Reply STOP to any message from us and we will stop texting you. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact us at (913) 600-7768 or [email protected].

Text messages come from (913) 600-7768. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

How We Share Information

We share information only in the situations below, and never for anyone else's marketing.

Service providers. We use outside companies to run our business — website hosting, our CRM and scheduling platform, email and text message delivery, analytics, AI chat and voice providers, and payment processing. They only get the information they need to do their job for us, and they are not allowed to use it for their own marketing.

Legal reasons. We may share information if the law requires it, if we get a valid subpoena or court order, or if we need to protect our rights, our clients, or someone's safety.

Business transfers. If SiteSurge is sold, merged, or transfers its assets, client and customer information may transfer with the business. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are excluded from any such transfer for marketing purposes and would not be used to text you without new consent.

With your direction. If you ask us to send your information somewhere — for example, to your domain registrar or your Google Business Profile — we will.

Excluded in every case: mobile opt-in data. None of the sharing described above includes text messaging originator opt-in data or consent. That information is not shared with any third parties.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.

Client Website Visitor Data

When we build and host a website for a client, that client owns the information their visitors submit — contact form entries, quote requests, phone numbers, chat conversations, and call transcripts from the voice-AI add-on.

SiteSurge processes that information on the client's behalf, so we can run and support the site. We do not use a client's visitor data for our own marketing, and we do not sell it or share it with other clients.

Each of our clients is responsible for their own privacy practices and for how they handle and contact their leads. If you submitted a form on a website that SiteSurge built for a business, contact that business directly with questions about your information. You can also reach us at [email protected] and we will pass your request along to the client.

Cookies and Tracking

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies. Some are necessary to make the site work. Others help us measure traffic and improve our marketing.

We use Google Analytics to understand how people find and use our site. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects information such as pages viewed, time on site, approximate location, and the source that referred you. You can opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

We may also use advertising cookies from Google or social platforms so we can show ads to people who have visited our site.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of our site may not work correctly if you do. We do not currently respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals.

Data Retention

We keep information only as long as we need it.

  • Lead and inquiry information: up to 3 years from your last contact with us, unless you ask us to delete it sooner
  • Client account and project information: for as long as you are a client, and up to 7 years after your account closes for tax, accounting, and legal reasons
  • Text message consent records: for as long as you are subscribed and for at least 4 years after you opt out, because messaging rules require us to prove consent and opt-out
  • Website analytics data: generally up to 26 months
  • Client website visitor data: for as long as we host that client's website, or until the client tells us to delete it

When we no longer need information, we delete it or remove the details that identify you.

Your Choices and Rights

You can:

  • Access your information. Ask us what personal information we have about you.
  • Correct it. Ask us to fix anything that is wrong.
  • Delete it. Ask us to delete your information. We may need to keep some records for legal, tax, or consent-proof reasons.
  • Stop marketing emails. Click unsubscribe at the bottom of any marketing email, or email us. We will still send necessary messages about your account or project.
  • Stop text messages. Reply STOP to any text. You can also email or call us and we will remove you.
  • Opt out of analytics. Use the Google Analytics opt-out link above or your browser's cookie settings.

To make a request, email [email protected] or call (913) 600-7768. We will respond within 30 days. We may need to verify who you are before we act on a request, and we will not treat you differently for making one.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy law. We honor these requests from anyone who asks, regardless of state.

Children's Privacy

Our website and services are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If we learn that we have, we will delete it. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us at [email protected].

Third-Party Links

Our website links to other sites — Google, social media, scheduling tools, and websites we have built for clients. We do not control those sites and we are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices. Read the privacy policy of any site you visit.

Data Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, and reputable vendors for hosting and payments. We limit who on our side can see your information.

No method of transmitting or storing data online is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security. If we discover a breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by Kansas law and other applicable law.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as our business or the law changes. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top and post the new version at https://sitesurge.net/privacy. If the changes are significant, we will let clients know by email. Continuing to use our website or services after an update means you accept the new policy.
